Deadpool goes musical in a fan-made video which mashes up “” and “”. Uploaded by Deadpool Said, the hilarious video features an actor named Michael Parker, who dresses as Deadpool and parodies “Gaston” song from musical “”.
The parody changes “Gaston” lyrics into a very Deadpool-ish one. While the original version says, “No one’s slick as Gaston, no one’s quick as Gaston, no one’s neck’s as incredibly thick as Gaston’s,” the parody one says, “No one’s slick as Deadpool, no one’s quick as Deadpool, no one punches you right in the d**k like Deadpool!”
Elsewhere in the parody, the lyrics say, “No one flips like Deadpool, changes clips like Deadpool, no one wields katanas and rips like Deadpool. I’m especially good at decapitating.” The actor is later featured decapitating someone’s head. In addition, the video shows other characters from Marvel such as Black Widow, Rogue, Psylocke and Spider-Man.
Viewers note that the actor’s voice and gesture really resemble Deadpool original depicter . Although it’s only a parody, the fan-made video contains violence and strong words which can easily be found in Reynolds-starring “Deadpool”.
“Deadpool” became a phenomenon when it earned a spectacular $132.4 million in its debut weekend at box office. The film later became the highest-grossing R-rated movie by gaining a total of $783.1 million worldwide. The anti-superhero pic continued to surprise people when it was nominated at Golden Globe Awards as well as Producer Guild Awards and DGA Awards.
The sequel, “”, is set to hit U.S. theaters on March 2, 2018, with Reynolds reprising his role as the Merc with a Mouth.
